Job forum for Energy Transition

An essential part of the Conference

Over three days, the “Carrefour des Métiers de la Transition Energétique” job forum invites 1,300 young people between the ages of 14 and 17 who are looking for career guidance, as well as 300 new graduates, people interested in a career change and job seekers, to discover the many training and work opportunities offered by the energy transition sector. The focus is on 4 topics: habitat, mobility, digital technology and the circular economy.

On the agenda: advice booths, demonstrations and workshops organized in partnership with nearly 70 presenters – employment, orientation and training agencies in the cross-border region, as well as energy companies and professionals.

The “Carrefour des Métiers” is also a means to bring the latter groups together and involve them in the seven thematic workshops, with the aim to anticipate the future business skills needed to achieve the energy transition.

The “Carrefour des Métiers” has been co-organised by the “Cité des Métiers” in Grand Genève and the Economics, Employment and Training department of the Metropolitan Pole of the French Geneva area. The “Cité des Métiers” will be ready to greet you from its stand in the entrance hall and direct you to the different activities. Some of the presenters will also be able to help you learn about careers linked to the Energy Transition in a fun way, as you take the “careers in Transition quiz”.
